Ferrite near BUCK_3V3_EN coming from EFM8 button power MCU?

Hello,

Here is the ferrite I am talking about:

I would like to know why there is ferrite there and if it is necessary. If it is how is this implemented. I have no clue how a ferrite bead of that sized would be placed, what the name of the component is or if this is some kind of PCB trace.
