|Flashing an image with Balena on an NVME SSD and then using it on a Jetson device would result in an error described here and the fix is also in this post.
Is this a problem that should be fixed by the Balena team or NVIDIA?

Hi neltherion,
Is your issue about QSPI not been flashed?
Balena is used to flash the external device like SD or NVMe SSD.
You have to run flash command once for the new module.
Device => Jetson Orin Nano
Balena Etcher => 1.19.21
The Jetson Orin Nano was flashed with NVIDIA SDK Manager successfully but before or even after the flash, I could not boot up the Jetson with the jp60-orin-nano-sd-card-image.zip
etched on an NVME M.2 SSD.
The errors are exactly the same as was described here and the fix was exactly the same described here.
Just to clarify in case you don’t know.
The post and the fix you are talking about is basically same as what sdkmanager did.
sdkmanger is flashing the board too and the “fix” you told there would happen with sdkamanger case.
Thus, if you want us to help check what error you hit, I think you could share the full log on your board but not copy another post and told us “I hit same error”.
Also, I don’t even see anything related in the post you shared and the error you are talking about.
The error post you shared is a flash error from NVIDIA flash tool but not Balena…
