Flashing Jetson TX2 with the sdkmanager recognizing connection but not recognizing it is in forced recovery mode

Reflashing the Jetson TX2 developer kit using the sdkmanager GUI yields the following error:

So it looks like this board is connected but it is not recognizing that the board is in “RCM,” forced recovery mode even though “lsusb” does yield “Bus 001 Device 009: ID 0955:7c18 NVidia Corp.”, as proof that the Jetson is in forced recovery mode. Was wondering if you guys could please help me to solve this error.

May I what the OS on your host PC?

Windows host PC, sdkmanager running on Ubuntu WSL, usb connection from host to WSL is using usb over IP

To use the SDK manager, please have a host PC with native Ubuntu 18.04 OS to install it, then can run it smoothly to reflash you device via the JetPack you selected.

The Windows host computer, Ubuntu WSL, is not capable develop environment for Jetson platform.
