Flashing of Nvidia jetson orin nx board

I am having the Jetson Orin NX 16 Gb board when i am trying to flash through ubuntu 18 linux it throwing some errors as defined below, can solve it?

First of all:
Are you using a DevKit or a custom board?
What’s the L4T/JetPack version?

Please put the log in the form of zip archive from SDK Manager here.
Don’t crop it yourself.

Yes, I am using DevKit only with JetPack_5.1.3_Linux version

I mean SDK Manager let’s you export the complete log as a zip file.
Use that.

Also, make sure it’s an Orin Nano DevKit.
SDK Manager does not support the combination of Xavier NX DevKit + Orin NX.

It get solved, i have missed some BSP files of Jet pack 5.1.3. Steps to get solved:
1.we need to select necessary jet pack to be installed:
For JetPack-5.1

      Orin NX: ~/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1_Linux_JETSON_ORIN_NX_TARGETS/

For JetPack-5.1.1

      Orin NX: ~/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.1_Linux_JETSON_ORIN_NX_TARGETS/

      Orin Nano: ~/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.1_Linux_JETSON_ORIN_NANO_TARGETS/

For JetPack-5.1.2

      Orin NX: ~/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.2_Linux_JETSON_ORIN_NX_TARGETS/

      Orin Nano: ~/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.2_Linux_JETSON_ORIN_NANO_TARGETS/

For JetPack-5.1.3

      Orin NX: ~/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.3_Linux_JETSON_ORIN_NX_TARGETS/

      Orin Nano: ~/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.3_Linux_JETSON_ORIN_NANO_TARGETS/

And then we need to download necessary BSP files for version of jet pack we have choosen.
For JetPack-5.1:

Download the BSP files from GitHub link and extract it (Orin NX).

For JetPack-5.1.1:

Download the BSP files from GitHub link and extract it (Orin NX, Orin Nano).

For JetPack-5.1.2:

Download the BSP files from GitHub link and extract it (Orin NX, Orin Nano).

For JetPack-5.1.3:

Download the BSP files from GitHub link and extract it (Orin NX, Orin Nano).

We need to extract the BSP file and then copy all the files present in that and paste, where the linux_for_tegra file was there(mostly it is the folder of jetpack file only).
open the terminal in linux_for_tegra folder and then type these commands to create system binaries :

sudo ./tools/l4t_flash_prerequisites.sh
sudo ./apply_binaries.sh

And then in same terminal we need to do this, Apply the new BSP files and interface configurations with the following commands below:

cd …
sudo ./replace_bsp_files.sh
cd Linux_for_Tegra/

Then we need to check whether board is connected in RCM(Recovery mode) or not for this we need to type these command in same terminal:

Then, type “lsusb” and check the device connected in Recovery mode.

• “0955:7323 NVidia Corp.” for Orin NX 16GB

• “0955:7423 NVidia Corp.” for Orin NX 8GB

• “0955:7523 NVidia Corp.” for Orin Nano 8GB

• “0955:7623 NVidia Corp.” for Orin Nano 4GB

At last after verifying we need to flashing Jetson OS using following command in the terminal:

sudo ./tools/kernel_flash/l4t_initrd_flash.sh --external-device nvme0n1p1 -c tools/kernel_flash/flash_l4t_external.xml -p “-c bootloader/t186ref/cfg/flash_t234_qspi.xml” --showlogs --network usb0 jetson-orin-nano-devkit internal

Through these steps my problem was solved,

Hello, i am getting problem while restarting the orin nx board after its get successfully flashed its unable to boot the os ? can you solve this?

the board was successfully flashed and then linux was loaded and then i update all the things in linux and then it pop ups the window with restart is required to apply changes and then i clicked on restart, from there itself its stucked on the booting process unable to load the linux

Still, get the log so we know what happened.

Mostly it’s because something is broken during update.
You need to be very cautious when updating any packages on embedded systems.
