Flashing with SDK Manager stuck in "BootRom not running"

I am trying to Flash the Xavier NX (developer Kit) with Nvidia SDK Manager. The flashing hangs at “BootRom not running” message. Have tried multiple times.
Trying to flash image to the NvMe SSD connected.

Attaching the logs from sdk manager for references.

Is this sdcard module or emmc module?

Developer Kit version. SDCard module.

Could you

  1. Try to flash it with other interface like sdcard or usb drive and see if that works?

  2. Could you dump the uart log?

Actually I would prefer you trying the sdcard since it is the default method.

Log from flashing to USB. Same issue.
Will try the SDCard and let you know.

Few questions in the same time:

  1. Is this the first time you flash this board?

  2. If not, then did this board ever get flashed by jeptack4 before?

  1. No. I have flashed this module before.
  2. Yes. I flashed it with jetpack 4.6 before. But now, with Jetpack 4.6, I am not able to flash it.

Is this device still able to boot up since you are not flashing it successfully?

No. the board is not booting at all.

Could you also share me the uart log when you boot up the device? With sdcard image.

or just an empty slot is also fine. Just boot up and let me check the bootloader log.

The boot up log looks fine to me.

Could you just insert a sdcard with NX sdcard image?

Could you flash this with jetpack 4? also, are you willing to try sdcard image or not?
It is okay for me if you don’t want to try that because cannot flash is mostly a hardware issue.

But still need you to test jetpack4 before that conclusion.
