Glibc compatibility

Hello,
I’m the sysadmin of a computing cluster. We have a license for PGI Professional and we are about to update the system software, including Glibc and other libraries.
My question is: do you know of any problem with GlibC 2.12-1.209 ? Any compatibility issues?
I’m probably worrying too much but, you know, better safe than sorry :-)

We have a number of machines with Centos 6.6, and we support
Centos 7. So gcc 4.4.7 is fine for installing PGI compilers on.
