Hi NVIDIA support team,

Can I get some support on the microphone array development with Orin AGX?
Currently, we are left with option to use either analog 3x GPI or digital 4xDSI3. Can I ask whether either of these two interfaces support microphone input?

Option 1.
If use analog GPI input, it puts burden on Orin to process audio signal. Is there DSP on board that could be used for this ?

Option2
If choose DSI3 interface, can I get more details whether DSI3 interface supports digital microphone input such (USB interface)

Thanks,

As noted in A2B Support on Drive AGX Platform, audio support is not available in current DevZone releases for DRIVE AGX.

Thanks Vicky.

I check the link you post. It did not provide more details than simple statement.

Can we get some more information regarding audio support from hardware side and sw side separately?
Will DriveOS 0609 support audio ?

Microphone recording has been internally verified for A2B, but enabling specific A2B slave devices is outside the scope of forum support.

Could you provide more details on the two options you’re considering?

  • For Option 1, when you mention “analog 3x GPI,” are you referring to General Purpose Input?
  • For Option 2, could you clarify what you mean by “digital 4x DSI3”?

can I ask the pinmap for the A2B bus on Orin?

For question 1, yes. GPI means general purpose input

For question 2, digital 4x DSI refer to the Aurix MCU digital input. I will get more details for you.

A2B-related queries fall outside the scope of our forum support. For more detailed information or specific hardware pin mappings, please consult your NVIDIA representative.
