Hardware / Is it possible PCIe X8 (C5) can interface with the X4 PCIe switch chip?

I want to ask you one more question to confirm before starting the final hardware design.

orin <—> PCIe x8 (C5) interface <—> x4 PCIe Switch <—> Four (x1) PCIe endpoint

Is it possible to interface x4 PCIe switch to AGX orin SOM x8 (C5) as in the above Picture?
I mean x8 (C5) of SOM interface to x4 PCIe switch instead of x8 PCIe switch.
