Ever since updating to 510.47.03, my main HDMI display hasn’t been detected and only my secondary DVI connected screen is. xrandr
is also not showing any HDMI ports, only the DVI-D-0 and a bunch of disconnected DP ports.
I downgraded to 495.46 for the time being as that version worked perfectly fine and the changelogs mentioned linux 5.17 support so I waited for that. However, the drivers are still broken on 5.17.

You have set up a zaphod head config, please delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf and check if the hdmi monitor comes available.
@generix That seems to have done the trick.
Do you have any idea why the file caused things to break only after 510.47? It’s been there for a long time.
You had an incomplete config leading to undefined behaviour. I’d say this was previously working by chance, now you ran out of luck.
The “incomplete” config was generated by the nvidia-settings application though…
