Hokuyo 10X LiDAR and Jetson TX2

Hello, I am currently working on connecting the Hokuyo 10X LiDAR and Jetson TX2. We have set up an ethernet connection between the two and we can ping the IP address of the LiDAR ( However, when we run rosrun urg_node urg_node _ip_address:=“” we are met with “Error connecting to Hokuyo: Could not open network Hokuyo: could no open ethernet port.” Does anyone have a solution to this error?

We don’t have experience to connect Hokuyo 10X LiDAR with Jetson devcie, hope someone can share experience with you,
