See, I have here a simple falling boxes sim made in Kit 106:
It plays back quite slow, I would say.
So I do all I can to make it play faster in realtime. But no good, as you can see.
This is a good news in a way that the kit 106 RXT realtime render is awesome!!
But how can I make the sim goes faster, what are my options?
You can try to bake in the simulation using the OmniPVD cache in the Debug Settings. See below. You can also convert them simulation to keyframed animation. Beyond that it is the complexity of your scene, how many sim ready assets you have in the physics simulation. Hopefully not all of that. And finally, your CPU and GPU power.
Ok so its not an extension but it is in Physics Debug settings Kit 106, like you wrote me at this topic:
I am talking about Kit 106 since that is the title of this topic. “How to make the sim run faster in Kit 106?”
I have now booted my Kit with the command: repo.bat launch -d.
I am not browsing through the extensions but rather looking for this “Physics Debug” window that you have shared to me as an image.
I cannot see in anywhere. How can I open that window?
If I click the menu item Help / Documentation, I get no results with the search for “Physics Debug” :
then again if I use google, I only get this extension:
