How to Upgrade from Jetpack 6.0 to Jetpack 6.1 using SD card method and Debian package upgrade?

Has anyone tried upgrading from Jetpack 6.0 to Jetpack 6.1 using SD card method? I have done lots of experimenting work on a 128 GB SD card installed on my Jetson Orin Nano Development kit, which includes ROS2 Humble installation and other dependency packages as suggested by Microsoft Windows Copilot. Now I don’t want to lose my work as I have installed lots of packages and dependencies and it would be a tedious task reinstalling those packages again if I use a new SD card for installing Jetpack 6.1 for upgrading. I tried the Debian upgrade method on my existing SD card with Jetpack 6.0 as suggested by Microsoft Copilot (which I am attaching as a diagram below) but the upgrade did not work. Can somebody please suggest proper steps for the upgradation as I don’t have a Linux machine and therefore cannot use SDK manger method.

Hi log.vnprasad,

You can refer to Software Packages and the Update Mechanism — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation to perform debian-based OTA update from JP6.0(R36.3) to JP6.1(R36.4)

Please provide the full logs if you have any issue during update.

Thanks Kevin, Wil give it a try.
