I need help with my jetson nano

Then back to previous comment as @fchkjwlsq said, did you see anything from usb-uart cable when your flash failure happened?

Also, are you sure your setup for this cable is correct? I mean did you see anything from this console after you bought the cable so far?

I made a wire cable using micro USB cable and a jumper wire and made it out of myself . And when i try to recover for the first time it worked then i removed the pins and i power-off the jetson and turn it again using the power adapter it didn’t work it just remain as black screen and the jetson’s light was on . I waited for few minutes it didn’t work then i put in recovery mode again and flash it again it came and then i restart using the power adapter again it gave me the same result then the third time i tried to flash again then i got error at flashing the jetson

These were the following error i got that i have filtered out from sdkmanager

And now i literally i have no idea how to solve it, help me asap

Hi,

Just to make what I am asking clearly. I don’t care about your flash log from host right now.
You don’t need to post them. Especially you don’t need to post same thing twice… we already saw it and it didn’t provide much info unless combined with the device side log…

What I need to know is if you ever saw any log from the serial console before?

You don’t need to put the board in recovery mode. Even a power on will make the board print some logs (it may not boot completed, but logs will still come out).

If there is no log comes out, then maybe you should use other boards to check whether this cable is fine or not.

We require the log here to identify what is going on. There is nothing we can help unless you let it dump the log out.

If you cannot let it dump log out in the end, then please RMA this device and get a new one.

There is no log gets out it just stay blank screen

I mean power on the board. Not put the board in recovery mode.

BTW, are you sure you know what we are talking about here?

Could you share the command you are using to dump serial console?

I am not clear about this part “Could you share the command you are using to dump serial console?”

So you didn’t know what this comment is telling you to do at all?

I told you to buy an USB-UART cable. Use this cable to check the output of the Debug UART/UART #2.

yeah i removed the USB UART cable

… No, I am not asking you to remove usb-uart cable… I need you to connect it to dump the “serial console log” I told in previous comment.

What I was telling is to check whether cable is able to dump log out…

You need to follow this page and command to dump log …

[21515.991026] usb 1-2: new full-speed USB device number 113 using xhci_hcd

Got an error at dmesg --follow , here i am trying to get the path of the usb that jetson is connected i have connected to URAT TXD and RXD , Power and GND

Please try other cable… looks like the cable you are using has problem…

The cable is not the problem, Is there any other solutions

Hi,

We are not providing a solution yet. We need you to dump the the log so that we can tell the next step.

If you cannot dump the log and cannot make the board flashed, maybe you could directly RMA your jetson and get a new one.

But if you hit same error next time, we still need you to reflash and dump log.
