I installed compiler for linux86 when I use command “pgf90 file.F”, it is show error message
“pgf90-linux86: LICENSE MANAGER PROBLEM: Cannot find license file
The license files (or server network addresses) attempted are
listed below. Use LM_LICENSE_FILE to use a different license file,
or contact your software provider for a license file.” and I try to install that many times but
I find that problem.How can I do,tell me please?
I would first check and see whether the environment variable
LM_LICENSE_FILE is set to the location of the file where the
license keys were saved.
I don’t think reinstalling the compilers multiple times will make a
difference. This is a usage problem, not an installation error.
The problem to this sympton was the letter-case of the directory-name you installed the compiler. Please, change the directory name from “/usr/pgi” to “/usr/PGI” and then, the sympton will be disappear.
