Interfacing with an Ethernet Switch

Hi,

I am building a board that uses a multi-port ethernet switch IC so that I can communicate with few different devices to the Jetson TX1 module. I am planning to use a multiport Ethernet switch IC that has GMII/RGMII interface, and then use a PHY chip to interface between Jetson TX1 and Ethernet switch IC. The question is, if this is possible given the Ethernet controller on the Jetson TX1 module? And what would the control interface be since there are only limited pins from Ethernet Controller coming out of the Jetson TX1 module? Please let me know if you have more questions.

Currently we don’t have such experience on TX1, so I am still checking with system engineer internally. Sorry for the late reply.
