Hello,
In the past few weeks, I have been trying to flash Drive Xavier with NVIDIA DRIVE™ Software 10.0 (Linux) using SDK Manager 1.9.3. However, the process failed due to ‘thermal alert’ and ‘error 5’ errors.
To address these issues, I followed the solutions from the links below:
- Reflash stuck at 99% issue
- Resolving ‘error 5’ during flashing
As a result, the ‘thermal alert’ error was resolved, but the ‘error 5’ issue still persists.
I decided to downgrade to DriveOS 5.2.0 and DriveWorks 3.5, which I recall being downloadable with SDK Manager 1.9.2. Unfortunately, this version of SDK Manager is now disabled.
Is there any possible way to download DriveOS 5.2.0 and DriveWorks 3.5?
Dear @jaeikb38 ,
Could you try sdkmanager --archivedversions
on terminal and see old releases are listed?
@SivaRamaKrishnaNV
Thank you for the quick response! However, only DriveOS 5.2.0 is being activated.
Is there a way to activate DriveSoftware 10.0 as well to install DriveWorks 3.5 together?
I know manual installation of DriveWorks 3.5 is possible, but I would prefer to install them together if possible.
DRIVE SW 10.0 comes with DW 2.2 already and DRIVE SW 10.0 + DW 3.5 does not work.
It seems I may have misunderstood. I think I could use DRIVE DW 2.2 without any issues, but using “sdkmanager --archivedversions” appears to only activate DriveOS 5.2.0 and not Drive SW 10.0. Would it be possible to activate Drive SW 10.0 as well?
I am confused. you don’t see DRIVESW 10.0 release with latest sdkmanager?
It seems there’s some misunderstanding. While DriveOS 5.2.0 is activated, the Drive Software release that includes DriveWorks (such as DRIVE SW 10.0) is not appearing in the SDK Manager. My goal is to install DriveOS 5.2.0 along with DriveWorks 2.2 or 3.5.
Currently, DRIVE SW 10.0 is not activated, and I’d like to know if it’s possible to enable this version in SDK Manager to achieve my desired setup. If it’s not supported directly, I’d appreciate any guidance on alternative ways to proceed.
You need to download DW 3.5 manually from DRIVE Downloads | NVIDIA Developer and DRIVE OS 5.2.0 can be installed from sdkmanager.
I manually installed the software by following the provided link. However, I’m encountering an issue where the path is not being recognized, as shown below.
I’m unsure whether the installation was not successful or if additional configuration is required. I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this.
The sample files are copies of the DriveWorks 3.5 sample files.
