Is it possible to update TX2 kernel version and How to update?

I want to use two network cards in my application.The second network card is a pcie industrial grade network card ,its driver requires a mainline kernel of version 4.17 or higher.The kernel version of TX2 flashed by Jetpact4.2 is 4.9.140-tegra.I have tried to update by apt like PC , it seems not work.
So is it possible to update TX2 kernel version and How to update?
Or some other double network card solution?

Hi qgq1991,

To upgrade the kernel to newer version is not suggested, there are many dependencies in drives, low level stacks and libraries, also not gone through the QA validation process.
