Isaac sim cant launch

Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 Ubuntu 22.04 Server PC I was using Nvidia driver 535.

Changes I have tried:

  1. Used Nvidia drivers 545, 550, 535-server, and 525-server.
  2. Installed Docker.
  3. Reinstalled the OS.
  4. Reinstalled Isaac Sim.

Problem: The launch was not working. The app selector was not opened.

I checked the NVIDIA settings. Please provide a solution.

Isaac Sim launch did not work, and the app selector did not appear.

Hi. Looks like the drivers were not installed correctly. Are using the .run driver installers?

Are you running on a baremetal server? Is it a headless remote machine or has a display connected to the GPUs.

If it is a headless environment, you need to run Isaac Sim and python scripts in headless mode.

What is a bare-metal server? I am using it with HPE servers. Also, I want to start using Isaac Sim with the most basic setup, which is through the GUI. Can I not check the display connected to the GPU with nvidia-smi?

How did you install the drivers?

Are you running bare-metal, as in running Isaac Sim natively on the server in Ubuntu or are you running on a VM on the server?

You can check if you have a connected display by running xrandr.
