Isaac Sim doesn’t launch after installation. There is no error code.
Click on the LAUNCH button changes it to LAUNCHING… but then it switches back to LAUNCH and nothing happen.
Logs of Isaac app selector don’t reveal any issue.
Does this issue occur in other versions as well?
Since the Isaac Sim App Selector didn’t show up, could you still provide the full log for further investigation?
Also, does your setup meet the Isaac Sim system requirements?
Yes it occurs with version 4.1.0,
The setup meets the requirements, I also installed the specific driver version for Ubuntu.
Log files are added, hopefully these can assist exposing the issue.
This message in the logs might indicate a driver issue:
[carb.graphics-vulkan.plugin] Instance extension VK_KHR_get_physical_device_properties2 required by NGX.
Could you try re-installing your drivers and confirm that nvidia-smi shows the correct drivers after installation?
You can download the drivers from the following link:
It is a remote headless workstation. I connect to it using VNC and then run Isaac Launch on it.
I plan to use Isaac simulator with ROS on this workstation to collect some data.
Driver 535.216.01 was installed, I get this line on terminal but nothing shows up: Running "/home/dleon/.local/share/ov/pkg/isaac-sim-4.2.0/isaac-sim.selector.sh" isaac-logs-08-11-24.zip (16.5 KB) nvidia-smi_out.txt (1.8 KB)
