Issues connecting with Isaacsim WebRTC streaming client

Detailed Description

What I am trying to do here is a very basic first step i.e following Workstation Installation — Isaac Sim Documentation and then following Livestream Clients — Isaac Sim Documentation to access isaacsim on remote desktop (which is Ubuntu 22.04) i.e., running ./isaac-sim.streaming.sh on my Remote Desktop and pasting my ip for remote server on web-Client (on my personal laptop MacOs with chip Apple M4 Pro). What I am getting is shown below.

Can someone help me explain why this happens and what can be done to resolve this?

Are your server and client within the same network? Did you see the note on Livestream Clients — Isaac Sim Documentation stating:

  • Isaac Sim WebRTC Streaming Client is recommended to be used within the same network as an Isaac Sim headless instance.

Following the post here Running python scripts headlessly with Isaac Sim 4.5 - #5 by t.reid it seems that streaming over the Internet using the WebRTC Streaming Client was fixed in upcoming Isaac Sim release.

Any work-around that could help or can be tried in order to get started.

There is currently no reliable workaround for using the “Isaac Sim WebRTC Streaming Client” over the Internet. For now, please use the “Omniverse Streaming Client” and let us know if you encounter any issues.

@VickNV Thank you for the reply. This source provides the download link for Omniverse streaming client: Download Isaac Sim — Isaac Sim Documentation. However, it shows it is deprecated and since my host machine Mac, there is no download available for the same. So, not sure how it will help me.

@tarun.krishna1 Isaac Sim 4.5 do not support livestreaming over the Internet with the Isaac Sim WebRTC Streaming Client. This support will be available in the upcoming Isaac Sim 5.0 version. I afraid there are no workarounds currently.
