Jetson AGX Xavier stuck in the boot loop after do-release-upgrade

Later update from the SDKmanager did not yield in better result.
What is the best way to make the device usable, I do not need to recover the data.

Jetsons terminal spits this. Than it drops a ton of new lines and reboots.

What is your target JP version?
Is your host a native ubuntu?
Is your Xavier NX using a dev kit?

Hi, thanks for the response.

I tried flashing the latest one, 6.1 or so.
Host is native Ubuntu 22.04.
Flashing was attempted after do-release-upgrade on Jetson.
do-release-upgrade resulted in the bootloop, Flashing over the sdkmanager did not change the situation.

Can’t answer if Xavier used the dev kit, it did say it was on Ubuntu 18.

Thanks, I will give it a shot.

One more thing SDK Manager when Product Category is Jetson,
System Configuration: Host Machine Ubuntu 22.04 and with Target Hardware selected it gives No SDKs available for installation.

Does that indicate any issues?

Oh it seems that I need to downgrade the host machine to flash 5.1…

Hi,

You could download the bsp and rootfs and flash manually in your ubuntu 22.04
What is your target JP version?
JP5.1.5?

Intention was to go with the latest possible, so I guess JP5.1.5 it is.

Please download Driver Package (BSP) and Sample Root Filesystem from the Jetson Linux | NVIDIA Developer.

And follow the Quick Start — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation to flash your device.
