Jetson Nano Orin usage with 4 cameras

Hi,

I have a computer vision project that requires me to use 4 cameras concurrently in real-time to detect an object from 4 different angles for semantic object detection. I would like to enquire the following queries:

  1. Is jetson nano orin development kit able to handle this requirement?
  2. What is the lead time for the product to arrive in Singapore?
  3. Will this work with both CSI/MIPI and USB cameras? (4 cameras)

Thank you.

Hi,
We would suggest use CSI/MIPI cameras for this use-case. For using USB cameras, you may hit bandwidth constraint as we have seen on Jetson Nano and Xavier NX:

For CSI/MIPI cameras, please check with our partners:

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. May I know in the attached screenshot, the Nano category is applicable to both Jetson Nano and Jetson Orin Nano series or just the Jetson Nano?

Also, is there a casing for Jetson Orin Nano series?

I’m Ivan from APPROHO.
The NVIDIA ORIN NANO/NX dev-kits reserved only 2 MIPI input.
You can refer to 3rd partner’s Orin NX/NANO dev-kit below. (AETINA AIB-MO22/32| AIB-MN32/42 )

It can support 128pin 8 lane mipi camera interface for ORIN NX/NANO.

Our AR0234 zoom camera can support 36pin MIPI output.

(Sorry, due to the post limitation. I can only post one link in one post.)

Plus our 6 to 1 MIPI adapter board, it can support up to 4 cameras on Orin. (Each camera output is 2 lane MIPI)

Currently, our cameras and MIPI 6 to 1 adapter board are enough for your request and can deliver in 2~3 weeks.
