i cant do it with my monitor enabled
when im booting without the monitor i can boot to login in minicom, but when im connecting HDMI its rebooting all the time like in the new log
Ok, please do below steps
-
Boot up without monitor
-
Go to /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf and remove the “quiet” word inside this file
-
Reboot device, this time, connect the HDMI cable.
Since we remove the “quiet” keyword, the serial console log will print more logs.

Hi igor.koc9,
This log looks weird. More weird than your log in previous monitor case.

What is printed after this part? Will the “Starting kernel …” still print out ?
yes its just repeating
Ok…
Then could you dump log with this case
- Boot up without any monitor
- Plug in the hdmi cable.

Hi,
Could you share the brand and sku number of this monitor? This issue is out of expectation and we need further debug.
Did this monitor ever work when you were still using jetpack4.3?
Its a new monitor, Lenovo ThinkVision S22e-19, all was fine with it
I think below steps could be best one now to check if this issue comes from your upgrade or from monitor.
-
Find another sdcard
-
Flash this sdcard with jetpack4.4
-
Tried these 2 monitors and see if they can work.
If these two monitors can work, it means the issue really comes from OTA upgrade.
i wanted to save data on my sdcard thats why i dont want to flash it, i have tried other monitors too and issue is the same
That is why I asked you to find another sdcard. We are just doing debug but not asking you to use new sdcard forever.
- Find another sdcard
i have flashed jetpack 4.4 on another sdcard and all is working fine. Both monitors are working
what should i do now?
Help me guys
Please backup your file from sd and then reflash your sdcard.
should i do that commands on a host pc or from recovery console in jetson nano?
yes, you have to use the host pc to do this work.
