Jetson nano can not display on HDMI screen

I can ssh to jetson nano though UART or micro USB. However, my HDMI screen can not display (I connected with HDMI to HDMI cable and screen is confirmed working well on my laptop).
My pure image is “jetson-nano-jp441-sd-card-image”
What should I do? My starting logs are below:

ssh to the device with monitor connected. Use command dmeg > log.txt and attach that log file here.

Currently your dmesg is being silent so uart side won’t show all logs.

Log file here. I commanded “dmesg > log.txt” instead “dmeg > log.txt”.
log.txt (66.1 KB)

Are you using any adapter on your HDMI monitor? From the kernel log, there is no monitor connected signal.

Sure, when I pressed HDMI monitor’s power button, the light turns on and turns off shortly afterward. Screen does not display anything. My HDMI monitor works well on laptop.

Are you using NV devkit? Or some other kind of custom board?

I am using Jetson Nano A02 with jetson-nano-jp441-sd-card-image. It works on DisplayPort but does not work on HDMI.

I can only guess the HDMI port has something wrong. Do you have other jetson nano devkit to validate your sdcard and monitor?

Yes, I checked my sd card and monitor with my friend’s Jetson Nano A02, both work. However, my friend told me sometimes his board has the same issue.

Please boot up your device with no monitor connected. Hotplug the monitor until the device boots up for like 20 sec. Check if dmesg give out any new log after hotplug.

Log no change anything after that.

Maybe trying different HDMI cable.
This is pure GPIO to detect. Software side has nothing to do.

If you really want to clean setup, flash your board with sdkmanager with jetpack4.6.

Thank you. I will check and confirm later.
