Jetson Nano HDMI display found, no video output

Hello,

I am working on a custom carrier board for the Jetson Nano. I have attached the relevant schematics and debug output. My issue is that I am unable to see any video output through the HDMI interface on a 640x480 screen.

Based on the messages, it appears that the HDMI screen is being recognized and communicating via i2c because it is able to see which interfaces (buttons for volume up/down) are available. I do not have access to a high frequency scope to verify the eye-diagrams for the HDMI signal, but I did ensure I was following the design guidelines and used many of the same components in the design.

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.


If your problem is in kernel, then you need to dump the dmesg.

I don’t know if that means the module is a02 (from a dev kit), but if it is, and the carrier board is for b01, then that would account for the failure.

A good catch. I also noted this and have updated the dtb accordingly. It should now load with the b00 dtb

I am closing this topic. The issue was caused by our pcb supplier incorrectly soldering the mosfet used in the data line pull down resistors.
