Jetson orin AGX PREEMPT-RT RT-test

hello,
I installed the real-time patch on the Jetson Orin AGX 64 and conducted real-time performance tests using cyclictest. However, the test result are much worse than those in the non-real-time scenario. Did i make some incorrect settings somewhere.

Please try the steps for comparison:

  1. Open one console and run
$ sudo jetson_clocks
$ stress --cpu 12 --io 12 --vm 12 // 12 is number of CPU cores. Please change it per the platform
  1. Open the other console and run cyclictest
  2. Compare MAX latency between RT and non-RT kernel.
