Jetson Orin Nano Boot Issues

When I plug in my Jetson Orin Nano, the light turns green and it connects to my monitor, displaying a Nvidia Logo and bars of text in the center of my screen for just a second. Next, my keyboard and mouse enable and turn on and I can control it for a split second before it shuts off. The green light stays on, the monitor stays connected as a black screen and my peripherals are still powered.

If I try to unplug and re-plug it, it says no signal found on my monitor. If I unplug it, wait for approximately 30 minutes (above 20 for sure), it will allow me to go back to the original issue.

We would appreciate guidance,

Hello @3756ramferno

Could you please the UART Serial Console logs? You could check NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano - Serial Console in order to get it.

It doesn’t seem to be able to send any information through. Here’s a picture of what the screen looks like.

Update: Used a brand new DP cable, and still no luck getting it off that green and purple screen.

Is this still an issue to support? Any result can be shared?

Hey Kayccc!

The solution I found was that my alligator clips were attached to the wrong pins. To all people facing the same issue, make sure your alligator clips connect only the two pins under the cooler that are two off from the right.

Thank you.

Glad to know issue resolved, thanks for your sharing!
