I’m experiencing a boot issue with my Jetson Orin Nano. Upon startup, the device shows the NVIDIA logo, and the fan briefly stops. However, the screen then goes blank, the fan restarts, but the screen remains blank without further progress. I’ve tried flashing the device with several JetPack versions (6.1, 6.0, 5.14, 5.13), but the issue persists across all versions. I also attempted using SDK Manager to flash the device, but I encountered a USB timeout error during the process, which prevented successful flashing. Any guidance on how to resolve this boot issue or fix the USB timeout problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hi,
Please check the quick start in developer guide and make sure you follow the steps one by one:
https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/archives/r36.3/DeveloperGuide/IN/QuickStart.html
If the device still cannot be flashed/booted, please refer to the page to get uart log from the device:
https://elinux.org/Jetson/General_debug
If you are using custom board, you can compare uart log of developer kit and custom board to get more information.
Thanks!
