Jetson TX2 os install

hello.

I tried to install L4T r32.1 on Jetson TX2 8GB.
The installation failed.

I proceeded with the installation in the following order.

  1. download ‘JAX-TX2-Jetson_Linux_R32.1.0_aarch64.tbz2’ and ‘JAX-TX2-Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R32.1.0_aarch64.tbz2’.
  2. Recovery mode of TX2 module
  3. Enter command in terminal of host pc.
    sudo tar xpf JAX-TX2-Jetson_Linux_R32.1.0_aarch64.tbz2
    cd Linux_for_Tegra/rootfs/
    sudo tar xpf …/…/JAX-TX2-Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R32.1.0_aarch64.tbz2
    cd …
    sudo ./apply_binaries.sh
    sudo ./flash.sh jetson-tx2 mmcblk0p1

The ‘flash.sh’ hangs under the following circumstances.
What’s the problem?

Hi @mk.kang ,

I couldn’t find the “jetson-tx2” parameter on the documentation. If your module is tx2 developer kit, the flash command must be like below.

I am not sure that it will work or not but you can try following command.

sudo ./flash.sh jetson-tx2-devkit mmcblk0p1

I found documentation of nvidia(PCN 206440) related to this issue.
Jetson TX2 modules produced from July 7, 2020 can only be installed with jetson 4.4(L4T r32.4.3) or higher version. But I tried to install jetpack 4.2. So it didn’t install.

Is there any way to install jetpack 4.2 version in new modules?
