Hi,i flash the jetson xavier failed.Have ang suggestion?
the device is under recovery mode.

Could you try flash JetPack-4.2.2?
This should be eeprom issue.

Is there any file named “cvm.bin” generated under Linux_for_Tegra/bootloader after this failure flash?

I guess your case is more like you had once changed the eeprom value through I2C tools. Did you remember doing such change before?

mayby it was changed. it’s our customer send to us. said they just can’t flash it. Did you have any solusion to save this problem?

Could you try to add “SKIP_EEPROM_CHECK=”-n";" in jetson-xavier.conf and see if it can bypass the error?

Ok, it seems eeprom value check still not pass. To fix such issue, either

  1. Fix it in bootloader. Since we don’t release code in this part, it would take some time for our engineer to share a solution.

or
2. Update the eeprom value. Is your xavier still able to boot into ubuntu? If it can, then you could still use i2cset to modify the eeprom crc value.

Although it is TX1/TX2 eeprom, the idea is basically same.

Please try to use i2ctools from apt-get which is a 3rd-party tool.

sudo apt-get install i2c-tools

and try to use i2cdump to dump current eeprom value in module first. It should mostly match the content in document.
Please check if the crc value in field 255 is correct or not.

If that field is not correct, please re-calculate the crc value and use i2cset tool to write it to field 255.

The way to re-calculate crc value is also mentioned in the document.
