Laptop rtx 3060 hdmi monitor/gpu freeze in wayland on 525.85.05

using kde and wayland after some time randomly like once per day or so sometimes longer both the internal display and hdmi connected display stops “rendering” or updating. it all freezes. with the sysrq + k combo i can bring down the freeze and get the internal display working again but the hdmi connected one refuses to work again unless i reboot, doing this prints this to dmesg.

[ 3938.743708] sysrq: SAK

[ 3943.053458] [drm:drm_new_set_master] *ERROR* [nvidia-drm] [GPU ID 0x00000100] Failed to grab modeset ownership

and this is the only errors or output i get when it occurs, or rather after killing it with sysrq and trying to start again.
