Maximum temperatures for inductor components mounted on Orin NX16GB modules

Hi,
Please check the operating temperature range of the inductors mounted on the module.

Why do you need such data? Which inductor do you mean?

Hi,
We are investigating Nvidia Orin NX16GB as an initial study, using datasheets and other data.
(Jetson_Orin_NX_Series_Orin_Nano_Series_Thermal_Design_Guide_TDG-11127-001_v1.1.pdf) as information for designing the temperature inside the enclosure.
I was able to refer to the power consumption of peripheral devices, but there is no document for guaranteed operating temperatures for each component, so I am asking a question.

Which inductor do you mean?
・CPU/GPU/CV Inductor
・SoC Inductor
・5V Inductor
・VDD2 Inductor

Please just follow the data in TDG. That also can guarantee the operating temperatures of components on module.

See Table 3-1 (Orin NX 16GB Thermal Performance for 25 W Operational Mode).

(When the Tc of (Orin SoC) is 86.57°C by calculation, does it mean that the mounted components can also be guaranteed?

If possible, please state OK and NG for the attached list.

Description 5Vin Total Power (W) Result(Tcase℃)
Orin SoC 19.8 86.57
LPDDR5 1.8 81.36
CPU/GPU/CV Dual Package MOSFET 0.64 80.01
CPU/GPU/CV Inductor 0.43 81.36
SoC Dual Package MOSFET 0.35 79.87
SoC Inductor 0.23 80.16
VDD2 Regulator 0.1 79.65
5V Regulator 0.18 83.11
5V Inductor 0.12 79.62
Realtek 1G ENET PHY 0.53 87.06
QSPI 0.07 80.18
VDD2 Inductor 0.07 78.13

I don’t get what you mean. TDG is for customer to make custom thermal design. Customer should follow the guide to make the thermal solution to guarantee the Tcase of listed key components is in the range.

Since the temperature of the ECU does not exceed the operating temperature of 99°C, it can be concluded that there are no problems with the other components on the board.
I understood that.

Thanks.
