2 Follow-ups please.

In the ConnectX6 “Release Notes” as linked, it states QSA28 is required for 25GbE but they do not say that for the 10/1 GbE. The note about the QSA28 is is in the 25GbE cable section only. “The 25GbE cables can be supported in ConnectX-4 adapter cards only when connected to the MAM1Q00A-QSA28 module.”

  1. So can I assume that using the QSA28 is implied for 25/10/1 and that’s an omission?

  2. Will you be certifying and testing more 100GbE EDR cabling such as cabling from Cisco, Arista?

We have checked internally regarding your additional questions:

  1. Yes, the adapter should be used for 10 and 1 GbE connections as well (QSA adapter required). This be updated properly in the upcoming f/w RN

  2. With every new f/w release we are expanding our cable support
