MST monitor with Ubuntu 22.04 and 3080 Ti

Hi,

My setup is the following:
1 4k Monitor (DP), 2 1080p (HDMI) pivot monitors, and a professional 4k MST monitor (lets call it “B” monitor). I replaced my old RX480 with a 3080 TI, with the old RX480 it worked well.
So this B monitor has a single DP input, and in the menu, i can select SST or MST mode. With SST i can get obviously only 4k 30hz, which is fine. With MST, i can setup, so that i get 4k 60HZ, but the linux (arandr, xrandr, nvidia driver) sees this 1 physical monitor as 2 separate physical monitors. And because the limitation that a card only support 4 monitors at once, i can’t use this setup with my 3 other monitors.

In windows, it works with all my 4 monitors, 4k 60hz on my B monitor too, because windows sees this B monitor in MST mode as 1 physical display.

Is there any way, so i can make linux see my B monitor in MST mode as a single 4K 60HZ screen, instead of two verticalli splitted/half 4K 60HZ screens?

Thanks You in advance,
Adam

I am still waiting for support from NVIDIA on this issue. It worked with AMD rx480 in Windows and Linux, and now it works only in Windows. How can i configure the system, so it sees the display with the built in mst hub as a single display, and not 2? No wayland, only X11.
3080 TI is an msrp 1200 USD card, I expect it to work with Linux drivers just as good, as a 5-6 year old GPU did.

I would like to get support from NVIDIA!
Thanks
