Hello , I need to connect two monitors two Jetson AGX Orin (64gb). I am currently using the developer kit . It has one DP port accessible. But I want to make a custom design for the career board. I can see on the AGX orin module in J3D there are two sets of DP signals available and currently only 1 set of DP signals are exposed on the Career Board.
Can we exposed the unused pins and get the second display port and connect two monitors and get the two 4k images on two monitors in parallel?
No, that is not possible. That one has no function for display either.
Yes, the only way for Orin to output 2 display is using DP MST hub.
No other method can do it.
why these pins are present at the SOC? Whats the purpose?
You could check the design guide document or Orin AGX devkit schematic and it will tell you what it is doing.
One more question. With this single output and then connecting a MST hub we can get two 4k images in two monitors?
If the MST hub supports DSC, then yes, it can output 2x 4k image.
