NVIDIA Driver installed but not being used

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I have installed nvidia driver 435 but still seems like llvmpipe is being used. I have tried the solutions with similar problem from here, here and here, still no luck. Also, I am not able to change the display brightness, I assume both are related. I am attaching the log here.

Please remove
nomodeset
kernel parameter.
