I’ve just got a brand new system with no O/S installed. I have Fedora 20 live desktop on a USB. What can I do to get an initial install?
I managed to install to disk, by specifying some of the parameters show above:
nouveau.modeset=0 rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau rd.driver.blacklist=i915 rd.driver.blacklist=drm video=vesa:off video.allow_duplicates=1
I’m not sure what all of them mean, but well, it worked.
But when restarting the system (from the hard disk this time), I get the same errors as before. So evidently the install isn’t clever enough to detect the additional parameters and add them in. So i have to do this. Where and how do I do this?
I found out. Working now.
Next I have to install the nvidia driver, but that can wait.
