nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (361 KB)

Can you please run “sudo nvidia-bug-report.sh” and attach the resulting nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file to your post?

I tried to attach it to the original post, only place I could see where I could attach anything.
Under Attachments says:
[SCANNING…PLEASE WAIT] nvidia-bug-report.log.gz

What am I doing wrong…

Thanks

Looks like it worked. Here’s the root of the problem:

[ 44.122684] NVRM: GPU 0000:01:00.0: Failed to copy vbios to system memory.
[ 44.122788] NVRM: GPU 0000:01:00.0: RmInitAdapter failed! (0x30:0xffff:755)
[ 44.122805] NVRM: GPU 0000:01:00.0: rm_init_adapter failed, device minor number 0

Unfortunately, there’s not much to go on there. This could be a system-level problem, so I’d recomend starting by checking with your laptop vendor to see if there’s an updated system BIOS for your laptop.

Hello plattner
I have same issue on my linux.
You said need to checking BIOS.

SO What I have to check on BIOS setting?
