I have new dell laptop which have on-board RTX 3050, et has support for thunderbolt 4. I did plug another RTX3090 to Razer core chroma through thunderbolt 4. I installed new fresh ubuntu 22.04.2 server to the laptop
(5.15.0-76-generic), and i did install cuda toolkit and its driver from the official runfile cuda_11.6.2_510.47.03_linux.run, everything went smooth (after i installed cmake and build-essential) and the driver 510.47 has been installed successfully and also the toolkit.

Now then i wanted to check the devices, with the comand nvidia-smi, the command did hang and the driver has frozen.

I did (prior to installing cuda toolkit ) disable nouveau driver and add pci=realloc to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT variable in /etc/default/grub, then `sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg’ then sudo update-initramfs -u.

So i am asking for help to solve this problem, please.
I should mention that when i remove the thunderbolt cable (prior to boot), and the system has on-board RTX, the driver do detect the on-board RTX and nvidia-smi don’t hangs.
