I have an OAK-D camera. I want to be able to use this camera with NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit. I was told by the Luxonis team developed OAK-D lite that after few hours randomly camera device disconnects due to stability issues with xusb-tegra.
This could be an Jetson configuration or usb driver bug. It sounds like it only happens on Orin.
Does this ring a bell? I have not run into this issue myself. I am simply communicating what Luxonis team told me.

The issue you’re describing with the OAKD camera disconnecting after a few hours due to stability issues with xusbtegra on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit is not explicitly mentioned in the provided context. However, there are a few topics that might be related to your issue:
CSI-0 with MIPI 4 lane is not working properly (Jetson Orin Nano camera, board-design): This topic discusses an issue with the CSI-0 interface on the Jetson Orin Nano, which might be related to the camera disconnecting issue you’re experiencing.
CSI Camera 0 Hangs When Trying to Collect an Image with v4l2-ctl (Jetson Orin Nano camera): This topic describes an issue with the CSI camera hanging when trying to collect an image, which could be related to the stability issues you’re experiencing.
Jetson Orin Nano - IMX219 not detected on JetPack 6 (Error -121) (Jetson Orin Nano camera): This topic discusses an issue with the IMX219 camera not being detected on the Jetson Orin Nano, which might be related to the camera disconnecting issue you’re experiencing.
It’s worth noting that the xusbtegra driver is not explicitly mentioned in the provided context, so it’s unclear if this is a known issue with the Jetson Orin Nano.
In terms of comparing the Jetson Orin Nano to other models, the provided context does not provide any specific information about the differences between the Jetson Orin Nano and other models in terms of camera support or stability. However, it’s worth noting that the Jetson Orin NX and Jetson AGX Orin models are mentioned in the context, and they might have different camera support or stability characteristics.
To troubleshoot the issue, you might want to try the following:
Check the camera connection and ensure that it’s secure and not loose.
Try using a different camera or interface to rule out any issues with the OAKD camera or the CSI-0 interface.
Check the system logs for any error messages related to the camera or xusbtegra driver.
Try updating the JetPack version or the xusbtegra driver to see if it resolves the issue.
Reach out to the Luxonis team or the NVIDIA support team for further assistance.
In summary, while the provided context does not explicitly mention the issue you’re experiencing, there are a few topics that might be related to the camera disconnecting issue you’re experiencing. Further troubleshooting and investigation are needed to determine the root cause of the issue.

Hi,
The latest Jetpack version for Orin is 6.2.1 and we don’t see USB issues being reported. You may check with the vendor to get more information, such as on which Jetpack version the issue is observed, any error in dmesg.
