Hi Everyone, I am trying to running some vehicle based simulations in Isaac Sim. I know there is a build-in demo vehicle model, but I am wondering are there any open source vehicle assets in USD format can be imported so I can use more realistic vehicle model? For example, in Unreal Engine, I can get the vehicle asset like the image below, just want to check if there are similar USD assets I can use in Issac Sim.
We support a very wide array of assets, not just USD. So you can get assets in from anywhere, free or not. TurboSquid, SketchFab, etc. It can be fbx, obj, whatever format you want. You can still just drag them in and convert them. SketchFab is good because you can download models as USDZ format.
Also we have SUPER realistic cars in our examples demos in configuration browser for Isaac Sim.
Thanks for your reply, that’s really helpful!
My additional question is, just like the default model, the body and wheels can be controlled separately, can this also be done with assets imported from fbx or obj file?
