the cmd is
- $ sudo ./tools/kernel_flash/l4t_initrd_flash.sh --external-device nvme0n1p1 -p “-c ./bootloader/t186ref/cfg/flash_t234_qspi.xml” -c ./tools/kernel_flash/flash_l4t_t234_nvme.xml --showlogs --network usb0 jetson-orin-nano-devkit nvme0n1p1
the error log is
Waiting for target to boot-up…
l4t_initrd_flash.sh --external-device nvme0n1p1.txt (253.4 KB)
I tried three times and never pass.
The host is ubuntu 18.04 natively. The board is dev board. I’m sure the usb cable and force recovery pin are connnected good physically.
Any suggestions to solve it?
Not a solution but a common debug tips.
You should dump the serial console log when your flash failure happened.
No matter what situation, this log is needed.
After use this cmd. It successfully flash the qspi.
sudo ./tools/kernel_flash/l4t_initrd_flash.sh jetson-orin-nano-devkit nvme0n1p1
And then run this cmd. It successfully flash the nvme. The orin power on successfully.
sudo ./tools/kernel_flash/l4t_initrd_flash.sh --external-device nvme0n1p1 -c tools/kernel_flash/flash_l4t_external.xml -p “-c bootloader/t186ref/cfg/flash_t234_qspi.xml” --showlogs --network usb0 jetson-orin-nano-devkit internal
