Hi,
Could you tell me whether i can implement multiple Network Interface Controller (NIC) from PCIe lanes ?
The design guide says that it supports 5Gb ethernet interface via PCIe using Network Interface Controller (NIC). May i know what is the max bandwidth the T5000 can support using Network Interface Controller (NIC) ? Can it support 10Gb via PCIe using Network Interface Controller (NIC) ?
please let me know the what all data rates are supported via NIC
Multiple NICs may be connected to PCIe lanes.
Jetson Thor’s PCIe supports up to Gen5 (32 Gbps).
As replied to your other thread, there are fixed PCIe configurations supported:
Hi,
i wanted to implement the bandwidth which is more than 5Gigabits. The design guide and the devkit has given the reference for 5Gigabits using NIC via PCIe interface.
My question in simpler way is- Can the PCIe lane support NIC for more than 5Gigabits ?
The design guide/datasheet hasn’t specified on the supported bandwidth for NIC using PCIe. It just mentions as 5Gigabit. Please let me know if it supports more data rates or is it 5Gigabits Fixed ?
Yes, PCIe can support up to Gen 5 32 Gbps if your NIC supports that and if the layout guidelines for Gen 5 are followed.
Thank You Chris for the clarification !
