PowerMizer's performance level always on level 2 (GTX 580)

Hello,

i’ve installed Ubuntu 12.04 (x64) and the latest nvidia graphic driver (310.19). In your application “NVIDIA X Server Settings” I have selected the “Adaptive” mode on the page “PowerMixer” as preferred Mode.

The Performance Level is always “2” (the possible highest mode) and never “1” or “0”. This setting is very energy intensive and make lots of noise! How can I fix this?

“Problem” fixed. The performance Level stays only on level 2, if there are two active screens.
