Hello,

I’m on Garuda Linux based on Arch. I have three Monitors. Two connected with HDMI and one via DVI. The monitor on DVI is a black screen.

I attach the NVIDIA bug report.

Same here with Arch Linux. Had to roll back.

Same here with Manjaro. Second monitor connected with DVI->VGA adapter.

Same problem here using Nobara 40, the second monitor does not turn on with a GTX-970

Same here with Fedora. how long will it take approximately for NVIDIA to fix this? I’ve given feedback on the 555 release and feedback discussion post but it has almost been a month since this issue occurred and hasn’t been fixed for me yet.

this problem has been going on for me for over a month and i have written an email, and posted twice on the linux nvidia driver forum but no one has responded to any of my complaints. its utterly frustrating that neither nvidia or anyone else seems to get back to you or acknowledge your problems on your OS and/or driver version.

Can you please give 560.35.03 a try? From the release notes:

Fixed a bug, introduced in 555.58, where some DVI outputs would not work with HDMI monitors.

I use a rolling release distro (Fedora 40) and 560 has not been available yet for me to upgrade to. it there a way for me to manually update to 560 somehow?

Fedora 40 isn’t a rolling release distro. You could try to search the copr for a NVIDIA repo.
