Quadro 5000 + Tesla Use both cards in compute only mode

Hi

I have a Supermicro X8DTG-QF based system with on board VGA and 1 Tesla C2050 card installed. The system is working fine.

I was hoping to 3 additional Tesla C2050 cards, but due to some reasons it will be quite a while before I can do so.

I do have a Quadro 5000 GPU and was hoping to use it on my system. My question regarding this are:-

  1. Will this work?
  2. Can I use both the cards (Quadro 5000 & C2050) in TCC mode simultaneously? That is, can I still use the on board VGA? If yes how can this be done.

I tried the following: -
installed the drivers for the Quadro 5000, and enabled the TCC mode on the Quadro using the “nvidia-smi -g 1 -dm 1”. When I ran the “bandwidthTest” command to find the devices only the Tesla was listed. Hence I added a DWORD in the registry for the Quadro (I basically did everything that I did to get the Tesla working). Even after this only the Tesla is listed under devices when I run the “bandwidthTest” program, the same with even the “deviceQuery” program (only Tesla is listed).

Any help in this regard would be very helpful.
