Redirect GUI through PCIe interface: GPUDirect vs DRM

Hi,
I wish to redirect all GPU output through a PCIe interface to an external device instead of DP.

Hi, I wish to redirect the AGX GPU output to an PCIe / Ethernet / MIPI interface (to an external device, for example FPGA). instead of display port. How can I modify the GPU output destination? For the PCIe case, do I need to use GPUDirect? I asked a similar question here but i opened this thread to rephrase my question: Thanks

My question now is regarding redirecting the GUI frames. I know the GPU draws the GUI and outputs the frames via DP.

If I wish to output the GUI frames via PCIe interface instead DP, should I use GPUDirect RDMA as well or this case requires modifying the DRM Module and X11/wayland servers?

GPU direct usually requires an FPGA connection.
