Topic Description

Detailed Description

I am trying to connect to an ISAAC SIM headless app through ethernet on a local network. It connects well, but the editor resolution seems to be stuck to HD resolution. So - even i the viewport resolution is increased, it does not change any of what I see on the connected client - stuck to HD.

Changing the resolution before connecting does not change anything.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start headless isaac sim on a local machine.
  2. Connect to machine using isaac streaming client with different resolution requests.
  3. All choices show up as what looks like 1280x720.

And no, these are not the same image. First is a 4K request and second is a HD request. Both look the same.

Yes the streaming is hard locked at that resolution in the code. If you want to change it you have to go into the code to modify it.

Hi!
Thanks for the prompt update.

Is the above issue related and I have to modify something on the server side launch file?

Or is it a problem with the streaming client? If yes, could you please provide me with some pointers to where I could modify this parameter with the streaming client.

I will try to get you the exact place to edit it. Give me some time.
