Hello NVIDIA Community,
We hope you’re all doing well! I’m Aarya Furade, Networking Head of Team Automatons, a robotics research and development team from Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE), Pune. Since our inception, we have worked on ground-breaking robotics projects, with expertise in autonomous navigation, computer vision, ROS, machine learning, and embedded systems.
Recently we achieved an All-India Rank 2 at DD Robocon 2024 and are now finalists for the International Rover Challenge (IRC) 2025, which will be held at BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus this January. This prestigious competition requires the development of an autonomous rover capable of precise control, real-time decision-making, and advanced computer vision.

We strongly believe that the NVIDIA Jetson Orion NX is the perfect fit for powering our rover’s AI and robotics capabilities. Its robust processing capabilities for deep learning and computer vision make it an ideal choice for tasks like:

  • Autonomous navigation in complex terrains.
  • Real-time object detection and manipulation.

As a completely student-funded team, we face significant challenges in procuring the resources necessary to achieve our ambitious goals.
