Greetings NVIDIA Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing on behalf of Technocrats Robotics, the official robotics team of Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. We are a group of highly passionate and driven students who actively participate in major national and international robotics competitions such as the International Rover Challenge (IRC) and DD Robocon.

We are currently in the process of developing autonomous robots, where reliable edge computing and real-time AI inference are critical to achieving optimal performance. In this regard, the NVIDIA Jetson Nano plays a vital role in powering our robotic systems and enabling advanced perception, decision-making, and control capabilities.

Technocrats Robotics is one of the oldest and most established robotics teams at VIT, with a strong legacy of innovation, hands-on engineering, and competitive excellence. Over the years, our team has consistently worked on complex robotic systems, fostering practical learning and research-driven development among students.

Our team has demonstrated consistent performance across major competitions, including being finalists at DD Robocon 2025, finalists at Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, and finalists at the International Rover Challenge (IRC) in 2025 and 2026. Additionally, we have achieved a podium finish in an AgriTech-focused competition, reflecting our ability to apply robotics solutions to real-world problem statements.

As a self-funded student-led team with limited financial resources. Support from NVIDIA in the form of access to the Jetson Nano development kit would significantly ease our development constraints and enable us to further strengthen our autonomous systems.

We are reaching out to seek guidance and support from NVIDIA regarding the availability of the NVIDIA Jetson Nano development kit for our ongoing and future projects. Access to this platform would greatly enhance our development process and allow us to fully leverage NVIDIA’s AI and embedded computing ecosystem.
